WHO recommends cannabis international regulations be loosened
The World Health Organization (WHO) has treated cannabis as a highly addictive drug, with no medicinal benefits, since 1961. THC received the same designation in 1971. But finally, global health experts are coming around. They are recommending the rescheduling of cannabis to the category that contains “medically useful” drugs.
They’ve also acknowledged that CBD is not under their jurisdiction and so its not something they want to control internationally.
