L.A.’s First Cannabis Cafe Opens Sept. 24
by Dan Larkin.
L.A.’s first cannabis cafe opens on Sept. 24th and you can bet that reservations are going to be hard to get. The menu still isn’t yet set at Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe but you can bet there will lots of greens on the menu.
What to expect from L.A.’s first Cannabis cafe.
Here’s what you can expect if you’re lucky enough to snare a reservation at this West Hollywood soon to be popular venue.
For one, the place will be stylish. Not in a haughty way but in a cool, California way. Expect lots of plants, skylights, and open airy spaces.
You’ll also find lots of cannabis flower varieties on their menu. They’ll also offer vapes, pre-packaged edibles, concentrates, and extracts. But, don’t expect cannabis-infused food or drink. That’s still not legal in California.
So, the concept is that you’ll be seated, then a budtender will bring you a menu of high-quality cannabis products to choose from. They’ll serve as a sort of cannabis sommelier and recommend various strains or products to you that would pair well with their food.
What kind of food do they serve?
Oh, and so what can you expect as far as the type of food? Well, their website had this to say about their farm to table entrees and selections:
“Chef Andrea Drummer has designed a menu to enhance your cannabis experience– which can heighten your sense of taste and smell. Utilizing local farmers markets inspires the menu to change seasonally.”from the lowellcafe.com website
Offerings will change often, but an opening preview menu includes dishes such as a burrata and grilled peach salad and a fried chicken sandwich, (pictured above) and a selection of non-alcoholic “cocktails.”
The menus will change with the seasons and the craft cannabis menu will change daily based on the seasonal harvests available from their network of family farms.
L.A.’s first cannabis cafe plans to be open from 10am-2am daily and last call is at 9:50 pm. But you can continue consuming your cannabis selections until closing time.
Cannabis Cafe Conclusion
So, if you want to check out this awesome new concept in West Hollywood you should know that you can try making reservations as of now. But, keep in mind that they don’t open until Sept. 24th and it is going to be the “it” place to go for canna-consumers for some time.
