CBD Sponsorships are at this Weekend’s Indianapolis 500
CBD product companies have been given the green light to actively sponsor cars and drivers at this year’s Indianapolis 500. CBD companies are looking for all levels of sponsorship opportunities and have the money to spend on them. This likely signals CBD companies’ and products’ involvement in all major sports sponsorships in the future. This is in spite of the fact that drivers in the race are technically banned from using CBD.
To make sure that all of their ducks were in a row, teams seeking CBD sponsors made sure to run the idea by IndyCar officials and executives at NBC, which will televise this weekend’s event live. After setting up guidelines to ensure that each advertisement follows federal and state law, fits the television station’s visual guidelines, and does not market a company that also sells THC products, both IndyCar and NBC signed off on the CBD sponsorships.
