Cannabis Refugee: Mother Feels ‘Trapped Living Abroad’ for Daughter
Julie Galloway and her seven-year-old daughter, Alexa, are cannabis refugees. They’ve been forced to leave Scotland and move to the Netherlands to get access to medical cannabis. Alexa needs cannabis to treat her severe form of epilepsy. This same story is being repeated in countries around the globe, including the US. Draconian rules about medical cannabis are forcing tearing families apart and threatening the lives of children.
